Modenas in collaboration with Kymco, a Taiwan scooter manufacture launched the Elegan 250 in 2017. This scooter came as a successor to the previous-gen Elegance 200. It is a reliable machine that’s best suited to run daily errands by urban dwellers. It weighs 193 kg and offers a wide seat and long-wheelbase of 1,540 mm. The latter makes it fit for highway cruising. The Elegance 250 sources its power from a 250 cc liquid-cooled. single-cylinder SOHC powerplant fed by EFI and it makes a maximum power of 22.1 hp at 7,000 rpm. On the braking front is present hydraulic disc brakes at both ends – 260 mm front and 240 mm rear. Handling the suspension duty is the front telescopic fork and rear trailing swing arm. Further easing the ride are elements like LCD dashboard and a large under-seat compartment. Priced at RM 13,599, it is available in two colour options – Matte Black and Matte White.
